I am a mum with a wonderful husband and two teenage boys and I live in the harbour side suburb of Mosman on the Lower North Shore in Sydney. I have always sought out creative ventures in life. I studied Graphic Design and Illustration when I left school and did everything from working on a magazine to window displays for a major fashion retailer. After many years I have come full circle back to what I love...and that is painting. I enjoy painting items that evoke feelings of nostalgia and fond memories of childhood, these are my main focus at the moment.

I am originally from the UK and emigrated to Australia in 2009 mainly to be with our family who came here earlier. We settled in Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, I which we love, to be near one of our daughters but recently decided to move to the Lake Macquarie area near Newcastle to be close to the other daughter.
I have always been interested in art and at first my main preoccupation was with fine art black and white photography because I love all the different shades and shapes of grey, this chiaroscuro strangely led me to appreciate artists who use strong shadows and contrast in their colourful paintings. The defining moment was when I went to the Art Gallery of New South Wales where I saw a painting by Sir Russell Drysdale, his beautiful street scene called ‘Sofala’ I was so impressed by the colours and the feeling it gave me just made me want to paint!

I am an abstract nature artist living in the Gold Coast. I am a radiographer with a side passion for all things creative. I spend a lot of time outside and enjoy painting all things related to plants and landscapes. Seascapes and rolling hills are my favourite, with abstraction becoming more and more evident as I progress as an artist.

I am Kelly Driver, Contemporary Abstract Artist from Melbourne.  I live with my 3 children (2 sons and a daughter), and we will be bringing home our new puppy in December.  He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  
I absolutely adore painting Acrylic Pour artworks, specialising in the Dutch Pour technique.  However, I also love painting in other styles on occasion.  Being an artist is one of my 2 jobs, the other pre covid was in sales and marketing for Gray Line Melbourne, but now I am doing HR projects for Driver Bus Lines. It is wonderful having 2 jobs.

I started my art journey really young, drawing mainly. I did not do anything more until I was in my 30’s and I started out with doing decorative painting until I happened to discover watercolour. I was hooked! I have been painting for 30+ years and in the last 12 years have also taken up teaching. I am a passionate watercolourist.

I am a self-employed mother of 3, a passionate renovator, a short-stay host and a creative spirit.

Living between the Dandenong Ranges and the Mornington Peninsula I am never wanting for inspiration. The misty mountains with their towering mountain ash, the rolling hills with verdant motivation and the big peninsula skies with an everchanging palette are always at the forefront of my creations.

My name is Harry Martel, owner of ‘Martel’s Art’ and I am from a small island called Guernsey in the British Isles. I studied Economics at University but I have always had a love for art, particularly drawing and painting. I lived abroad in Australia and New Zealand for almost four years, before returning to the UK very recently. The more relaxed lifestyle, sunny days, vibrant wildlife and scenery, along with talented AUS/NZ artists, all inspired me to start creating again when I was travelling. When I'm not drawing you'll find me running, in the gym or doing some kind of exercise as health and fitness is a top priority in my life. I find the combination of art and exercise good for my overall well-being!

I am an abstract artist based in Melbourne! I’ve been painting for 8 years now, I paint full-time and am self taught. I love playing with colors and textures and experimenting with different techniques. I have always been influenced by my surroundings, nature and the sea, and living by the bay means inspiration is never too far away. I can not paint in a quiet studio… I always have to have some music on to provide a little inspiration. 

Hi I’m Jenny, my life started out in Sydney but my parents decided they wanted to give myself and siblings a "better" life in the country, out of the big smoke! We moved to Southern NSW when I was young and I now live and work full time on the family property which is located on the mighty Murrumbidgee River. My art is my passion and escape from the everyday pressures of life and one day I would love to have my own studio and paint full-time. My favourite pastime is spending time with my family and friends, I have an amazing daughter Elle, who is my rock and I became a grandma to our little ray of sunshine, Florence in 2020.

I am an award winning, abstract artist, art teacher, creative mentor, based in Geelong, VIC. I work from home, under the watchful eye of my Cavoodle Ruby, and alongside my wonderful assistant Katie. I specialise in abstract still life pieces, and have also exhibited across Victoria with so many more projects yet to come that I can't wait to share. I have worked with some incredible companies throughout my art career, including the Royal Children's Hospital and the RSPCA just to name a few. Before becoming a full time artist, some jobs I worked include pharmacy assistant, receptionist, lifeguard, delivering meals on wheels, and mentoring young people. I love reading, creating, baking, and my favourite shows include Frasier and the Office. I also love a good pun, and anything remotely funny.

Most of my life has been spent on Sydney’s Northern Beaches but I also have a strong connection with the NSW South Coast. When I am not in my studio, I love travelling and spending time with family and friends. My art is a reflection of people, places and experiences that bring me joy. Each work is an effort to capture the small but important moments that make life special. My aim is for my work to bring happiness to me, my collectors and those who view it.

I'm a Melbourne based artist and work primarily with oil on canvas. My paintings take ordinary scenes form the home and reimagine these spaces in a dream-like way. I hope to evoke feelings of nostalgia and joy through my work.

Hi! I'm Emilie, I'm a visual artist based in Perth, WA. At the moment I work primarily with Acrylics and Pastels. I grew up in the south east of France and went to a school with a visual arts programme in Aix-en-Provence. I had fantastic teachers and met so many lifelong friends there. I went on to complete a Master's Degree in Art History at St Andrews University in Scotland. After this I worked as a freelance illustrator and stationery designer for a few years. I'm married to an Aussie so here I am, in beautiful Western Australia. I made the jump to Fine Arts after having my son and it's been a very fulfilling adventure so far.

Hi, my name is Ilenia and I’m an artist and Visual Merchandiser. I’m Italian and I arrived in Australia 9 years ago, fell in love with the incredible Australian land escape and wild nature! I started painting and drawing since I was really young, always thrilled to create new things. I did my bachelor degree in Fine Arts in decoration in Italy and after that studied Fashion and costume in Barcelona. I spent so many years experimenting and I tried different styles, but I always get back to draw lines always with different mediums, I want to express my love for nature, for me they represent freedom and serenity! 

I am an abstract painter and a full-time Art teacher (Head of Visual Art) at one of Adelaide’s leading private schools. I moved to Adelaide for love in 2017 from Sydney, we have since married and he is incredibly supportive. I have two amazing adult children; two sweet step kids and we have a very energetic 3-year-old German short-haired pointer named Augie. I have always loved art; it was my passion throughout school, but everyone advised me that I’d never make any money being an artist.

After our second daughter was born in Perth 2005, we officially called this quaint city our home sweet home. I was born and raised in Jakarta. As a child and teenager I travel a lot with my family and by myself. We visited many museums and exhibitions during our travels, which was the beginning of my love for paintings.

I’m a mum of two boys 2 and 4 years old. They keep me busy while I grow my art business and work part time as a designer for an Australian label. I’ve always worked in a creative field with experience in Apparel design, textile design and graphic design. I come from a long line of creatives in my family. My mum and Aunty were both art teachers and my grandfather was an artist so they taught me everything I know. I do however credit RMIT University for the design degree they gave me and the amazing life drawing and print making classes which were the highlight of uni days.

Hi, my name is Sami Sparrow and I'm an artist, author and designer. I have my fingers in many pies as my creative brain will not settle with mastering just one art form. I'm a bit of an oddball, I love cute things, Halloween, vintage clothing, antiques and house plants. I like to express myself through my appearance as well as my creative endeavours, so I always receive a lot of extra attention. Which can be tough for an introvert like me. I'm a visual person and love having lots of different and fun things around me to look at and feel the world should be filled with more amazing creations.

I currently live in Perth but I grew up in Broken Hill. Living in Broken Hill played a huge part in developing my art and I would say my love for rich colours are somewhat inspired by the rich colours of the landscape there. During my time in Broken Hill, I was also commissioned to paint a mural inside the public library which you can still see today.

Hello, my name is Emmy, I am a self-taught photographer. I love to be behind a camera, but when I am not, you can find me with the people and dogs I love - never without my two West Highland Terriers Theodore Honey and Bonnie Louise, who often accompany me on shoots! I love visiting my local library and bookstores for photography books, trying out new and old favourite recipes, travelling, exploring my favourite cities, beaches or country walks with my Westies, at farmers markets or riding my bike - always with my camera!
