Chelsea Baker
Growing up, I lived in all different areas of Queensland. From the country (Mungar, Maryborough), Beach (Palm Island and Gold Coast), City (Brisbane), Smalltown (Townsville). Finally, I've placed down roots in regional Toowoomba with my childhood crush now Husband, our two kids and cat Floss. I have a passion for collecting seedpods from all over Australia and transforming them into original designs. A relative newcomer to this whole artist gig, but a long time collector of nature. Every seedpod I paint is an original design due to the unique shape of each one.
Marni Korneluk
My name is Marni Korneluk. I am a hyper realist pencil artist. I love creating magic with the scribble of a pencil. I usually muse on musicians and pet portraits but am turning my focus onto beautiful wildlife (which I have dabbled in before). I absolutely love drawing. It sets my soul on fire.
Elizabeth Sullivan
I am a mixed media artist living in Sydney, married with 3 children ranging in ages from 18 to 10. I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand where I lived until my early 20s. Drawn to travel (like so many antipodeans!) I left NZ bound for the UK, working in England and France (meeting my husband along the way) before settling in Australia in 2004. My love of colour and pattern began as a child and I expressed these through drawing and painting, collaging and stitching.
Benjamin Cole
I am an Australian fine art photographer with South Korean heritage, who looks to create still life sculptural images that are inspired by events in my life. Botanical elements are regularly featured in my work to represent the idea and emotions behind the work.
Ashley Hume
I'm a full-time Visual Arts teacher and artist, an adoring Border Collie mumma to Arthur and Kevin and I have volunteered for the Sydney Ronald McDonald house running holiday art workshops.
Kylie Jane
I’m a mum of 2 boys young active boys and love that painting allows me to work in between the boys busy schedules.I have been painting and crafting since I was a young girl but really found a love for painting on canvas during high school and when I first started working in a modern homewares store when I was 19.
Gabrielle Tito
I’ve alway's been creative, from an early age I was alway’s painting something whether it was our concrete driveway with water and a paintbrush (don’t laugh) or a pair of pants so I could look like "Boy George” to attend an Under 18’s disco, unfortunately life gets in the road and I didn’t return to painting till a couple of years ago at 48 after my mum passed away from Ovarian Cancer.
Steph Chapman
I’m a colour-loving abstract artist from Geelong, Victoria. I create vibrant statement pieces to brighten up homes (and lives!). Outside painting, I’m a full-time communications professional - I write and edit content mostly. I also run workshops to help people write with impact.
Sudha Palani
I am Sudha Palani, Self-taught Artist living in Melbourne.I love Nature, Science and Art. Painting is everything for me. I feel the satisfaction that comes from what I love to do. My Mum is my Inspiration. I love her painting skills. I did my first portrait painting for my dad at the age of 8. It was my dad's favourite movie character. I could still remember how much my dad enjoyed watching me painting. I did Masters in Clinical Biochemistry in India. After coming to Australia, I have self realized and started to work towards my passion.
Carley Bourne
I have called Noosa home for the last 13 years after emigrating from England. Me and my husband spent a year backpacking around Australia in 2000 and knew we were destined to live in this wonderful country! I have worked full time as a visual artist since 2019 when I finally took the plunge and done what I have always dreamed of! Since then, I have been steadily growing and have a successful business/brand creating and selling my own artworks. My life is busy with a 5, 15, and 16 year old, along with our cuddly spoodle Bella.
Kate Quinn
I work from my home studio in Brisbane, I'm a mum of three, and I work part time as an artist, and part time as a social worker. I've been painting for about 7 years, but prior to that, have always had some sort of creative hobby on the go.
Cathryn Sofanos
For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed the love of creating and making things. Sewing, bag making, quilting, felting and textile art has been my main focus for many years. Recently, about 6 years ago, I added painting into the mix and it is the combination of all of these creative expressions that has resulted in one of a kind clutch purses, statement piece home-wares, fabrics and large paintings, that I have recently transformed into a small business.
Ros Gervay
I am a busy mum of two girls and a passionate artist and art educator. I've always been creative as so many people are. I have created jewellery, handbags, sculptures and artworks since the day dot but it is only in the last few years that I have deep dived into painting and committed publicly to my art profession. My passion for painting, however, is impossible to contain and so I've created an online watercolour painting course entitled Permission To Paint to invite other women into artmaking.
Kat Schmitt
My name is Kat (aka Katerina) born in the Czech Republic my love for creating art began when I arrived in Australia with my family at the age of 8. At school I would fill up my school books with cartoon characters, abstract blooms and patterns to pass the time. In art classes I would experiment with different painting techniques and mediums. My life is really full! I am a mum, a wife and a social worker, one day I hope to be painting full-time and grow my business.
Sharon Rynehart
I’m a self taught expressive artist, 40 something, married to my childhood sweetheart, and mum to 3 kids (well, 2 are now young adults!) I’m a strong advocate for art as therapy. I have a chronic health condition, am a carer to my darling son who has Autism, and one of my daughter’s who has Complex PTSD. Art is my release.
Eliza Barnes
I am a 27-year-old painter and illustrator based in Melbourne. I pursued a career in law and worked as a lawyer until the pandemic hit and changed pretty much everything. Being in lockdown allowed me to focus on my art which up until that point had merely been a hobby. I became dedicated to improving my skills as a painter and finding my own style.
Grace Teresa Jewellery
My name is Grace, I was born and raised in Melbourne Victoria and currently living in the eastern side of Melbourne with my partner and our fur baby Alphonso. I am a full time Early Childhood Educator and I am currently studying full time to obtain my Bachelor to become a kindergarten teacher. I love my job and the rewarding feeling it gives me, it’s also super fun…
Amy Compton
I'm Amy, Sydney born and bred, currently living my best life in the 'burbs with my gorgeous hubby and three kids (aged one, three and seven). I guess you could say that I'm a relative late-comer to the art scene as I spent my 20s and 30s pursuing a career in the media industry. These days, when I'm not running around after the kids (which is most of the time), I am painting up a storm in the kids' toy room which I have taken over as my makeshift studio.
Paris Mann
My name is Paris, from Paris Sophie Art and I am an abstract painter from Brisbane. As well as exploring my creative side through painting, I also work full-time in marketing - yes, it can get busy sometimes! I have always been a creative person and follow in the footsteps of my grandfather who was an oil painter and great writer.
