Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I'm a full-time Visual Arts teacher and artist, an adoring Border Collie mumma to Arthur and Kevin and I have volunteered for the Sydney Ronald McDonald house running holiday art workshops.

I apply integrity to all of my work and use my creativity to give back to the community; I have donated my art to raise funds for causes such as the 2020 NSW bush fire appeal and I donated a piece for auction to raise funds for the Marter Dei school in Cobbitty raising $20,000 for the schools educational programs. I am most passionate about bringing pets to life through Art. I endeavour to create endearing memories through hand drawn custom pet portraits and portraits of people with their pets. Every pet portrait I create I donate 10% of my profits to Paws Pet Therapy who train and support volunteers to carry out safe and enjoyable pet-assisted therapy visits to people with a range of needs.

What is your favourite drink?
I really enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning, coffee is life.

What inspired you to start painting?
The insurmountable support from my artistic husband and my vivacious Nan. Their faith in my art propelled me forward on the path of a Visual Artist, even though I’m predominantly a drawer I started to learn how to paint, & love it.

What advice would you give other artists/creatives starting out?
If you fear failing, know that failure is the first attempt in learning, and in learning there is growth. Everything that is meant for your creative path will happen if you approach it with a spirit of gratitude, presence and perseverance.
