Tell us a little bit about yourself?

My name is Grace, I was born and raised in Melbourne Victoria and currently living in the eastern side of Melbourne with my partner and our fur baby Alphonso.

I am a full time Early Childhood Educator and I am currently studying full time to obtain my Bachelor to become a kindergarten teacher. I love my job and the rewarding feeling it gives me, it’s also super fun!

I have an extensive knowledge in many creative fields and I have always found my way back to those roots. It allows me to relax, unwind and be inspired by all the things around me. Creating jewellery allows me to channel all of that!

What is your favourite drink (tea, coffee, chai latte etc)

Definitely coffee! Black or an almond latte made by a barista. I usually have 3 black coffees a day one instant in the morning if I feel like milk.

I also enjoy a nice glass of Pinot noir when out with friends.

What inspired you to start making jewellery?

Creating is my me time, I occasionally draw and paint; but making jewellery gives me the opportunity to share my art passion with others!

What advice would you give other artists/creatives starting out?

Just do it.

That was something I told myself when I was contemplating whether or not selling my product, my idea and my work was a good idea.

The market is so vast and there is always someone looking for what you are creating.

Your passion is what will motivate you.

Your passion and love is what will drive you to success. People look at your products but they will relate to the maker more then anything. Show them you’re passionate about what you do and they will be passionate about your products too.
