I was born in Kenya, East Africa, migrated to Australia when I was 7 years old and have some vivid memories of the wild-life. This love of animals has pervaded all my art and it is my main source of inspiration. Now, living on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria I love walking on the beach and in the national parks.

Cassie George, Perth, Western Australia
I live in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia - along the coast and north of the river. It's a beautiful place to live with a vibrant local community. I'm a mother to an energetic toddler and partner to the man of my dreams. I'm also a creative human - who loves to spend time with family, cracks inappropriate jokes and cannot seem to keep my clothes in the closet (much to the dismay of said man of dreams).

Growing up in Gippsland embedded a strong love for nature within my soul which is reflected in my art. I have always been artistic, studying art and graphic design throughout high school, and Visual Arts at university.

My true passion is painting, this is when I most feel like myself.

I painted a lot in my early twenties, but the frequency became part time, until Covid 2020 when I realised something was missing from my life, and that was art! This fuelled my decision to make a career change and start painting again, which included building my own business and website – artbyelysia.com.

My husband and I live in Mt Lawley, Perth where I work out of home studio. I am a mum to three beautiful girls Harlow, Sadie & Ginger so I paint whenever I get time. I have a Diploma in Graphic Design and the 20 years I have been in this industry have helped me build the knowledge and skills to paint the artworks I am currently producing.

I’ve always been a creative at heart. Painting is my release, my outlet, my escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy day to day. Formally trained in Commercial Art and Marketing, I continue to hone my artistic practice alongside a career in health information and management. I also love photography, landscapes and wildlife, plus sport action shots; on weekends you’ll often find me supporting my football mad family and capturing memories for others.

I'm from Denmark but I have lived 20 years in Chile and now 7 years in Sydney. I love it here because you can sail every day on a different boat if you like to crew. I also love my local community, Greenwich where I participate in the local Art Trail and on a lucky day you see Guy Warren at the coffee shop.

I live in North Queensland with my husband and 3 children. I love spending time with my family, horse riding, breeding and hand raising Quaker parrots & cockatiels and painting. I'm also currently doing an associate degree in Digital Media which will hopefully tie in nicely with my art journey. I love living out of town and the freedom that comes with it.

I’m an artist who has only recently been creating art full time. Art as a career was not something I had around me as a child- and artists didn’t come from my part of the world. I played footy as a kid, and entered a trade when I left school- as was expected. I’ve always drawn and painted, but last year in 2021 I got a heart condition called Endocarditis, which very nearly ended me. Thankfully I'm still here- but was told I wouldn’t be able to do my trade job any longer. I returned to art when I was recovering at home, as a source of comfort, therapy and to starve of boredom as my body healed. The response I received for my art was bolstering. Eventually I had to make a decision, find a desk job in accordance with the doctors orders, or commit fully to art. I committed fully and now my art has opened amazing doors for me.

I'm a lover of exploring all life has to offer. In my 20s, I travelled to over thirty countries and spent time living and working in London. I'm very dedicated to conservation and supporting a sustainable planet.

I have always been creative at heart since an early age. Its my passion in life. I took a lot of time away from Art in my early 20’s and 30’s concentrating on raising my 4 boys. In my late 30’s I went into surgical menopause from Ovarian cancer treatment which caused a lot of anxiety and depression, Art has been a refuge for me and helps me focus on the positives. I currently work full time as a student service officer and pursue my Art only part time.

I live in Brisbane with my hubby, two teenage girls and pooch who makes a great Studio companion. Growing up in country Queensland, I had an early appreciation for nature, getting outdoors and enjoying the land. Nowadays, I love to travel and get out in nature as often as I can. I find it quite therapeutic. I’m particularly drawn to the natural beauty of life and of the landscape, it's shape and form and the warmth of the colours that the light reflects onto the foliage and water at different times of the day catches my eye.

Lozzie Eliza Designs

Hi, my name is Lauren Powell of Lozzie Eliza Designs and I am a Surface Designer Artist based in the Southern Highlands (Gundungurra), New South Wales. I love to paint and draw the nature around me which I then turn into patterns, before living on 5 acres my family lived in Sydney but they wanted a country change when I was really little so we moved to have a more rural life surrounded by many animals including horses and chickens.
Before I become a surface designer artist I was an assistant photographer capturing events, photos for businesses & Tourism but on the side, I loved to create art in Krita which is a raster-based computer drawing program that I would then upload to print on demand sites. I now create both digital in illustrator, procreate and watercolour artworks.

I am a self taught abstract artist, living in Adelaide, South Australia. After studying and loving art in high school, I put that more creative part of myself aside to focus on building a "real" career. I've always indulged in other forms of art and colour, through my love of fashion, interior design and admiring others' art, but about six years ago I picked up a paintbrush again. Since then, I've really enjoyed building on this creative outlet, turning it into a hobby, and now a blossoming little business. I feel so grateful for every step of this journey and am so excited to see where it takes me next.

I'm a digital abstract artist with an appreciation for food, community and the ocean. I grew up in Sydney, and after going through a design degree at uni, I landed myself a career in the animation industry. Even though I absolutely love my career and am very devoted to it, creating art quickly became my job rather than my hobby. However I found myself moving to the Central Coast of NSW for a work opportunity, and this is when I returned to creating simply because I love to! I love being able to create abstract works that have no limits or rules, something that doesn't exist in commercial animation roles.

A happy North Central Victorian, I love to walk, notice and photograph native birds - so that I can recreate them in art! I trained in pencil drawing as a child, but I find myself increasingly drawn to experiment. I use pen, watercolour, acrylic, gouache, recycled metal and wire, and even rocks. If a surface looks like it can be improved with a bird, I’m in!After decades of setting art aside, lockdown in 2020 inspired me to slow down, take stock, and make space for the mindful escape that creating provides. Compelled to take bold steps, a website and Instagram account began so that I could share my bird obsession with others. My work is largely realist, but I dream of letting go and exploring different means of expression!

I am a photographer/visual artist with a deep desire to connect to nature, to my audience and to myself.  I play with nature, movement, light and texture, to create evocative, figurative images, which are connected to the subconscious.

As a Self Portrait photographic artist I like to create thought-provoking, imagery of the feminine form. Capturing feminine, mostly faceless figures draped in billowing fabric in water or juxtaposed against the ruggedness of the natural environment.

My work explores the vivid contrast of fluid organic shapes and the natural world, it celebrates their differences yet unites them, hopefully creating a lasting impression with the viewer.

I’m Mands. I live & create on Bunurong Land on the Mornington Peninsula. I’m a self-taught mixed media artist & forever learning! My inspiration comes from the world around me, Mother Nature & native flora. A big part of my process is connecting with a story, whether it be what is happening in my life or the client I am painting for. Painting is my way back home to myself & my connection to others all at the same time.

I’m Tenielle. I’m a self taught artist from Tamborine Mountain, a beautiful sub-tropical oasis in the hinterland of South-East Queensland, Australia.

In the past I created larger paintings, however I’m not a full time artist and I found it hard to fit art in my life on a regular basis. I traded paint brushes, pots and time spent cleaning up all my mess for the simplicity of drawing with just a pen and paper, and I love it!

Now I am better able to balance my time for creative pursuits with time for all the other things I enjoy doing in life, like gardening, working my day job, and more recently, being a mum.
