Ann-Maree Wise is a Melbourne based contemporary artist. Through the mark of the brush she captures an impression of time and place saturated in colour. Ann-Maree’s artworks are reconstructed visions of seasons and settings. Having drawn since childhood, and later majoring in painting at Deakin University, her botanical studies explore nature’s untamed and changeable demeanour, whilst her abstracts interpret the gestures of dappled light and shadow.
