My Name is Natasha Smirnow. My story begins in Tajikistan where I grew up with parents who were doctors in the Russian military. At 8 we were forced to flee for our lives with only the shirts on our backs. My life as a young refugee girl resumed in Germany which is where I discovered expression through art. It moved and consumed me to a place where time slows into a peaceful whisper. Now as a woman and Mother I have re connected with my ever evolving friend.
