From early childhood a love of drawing consumed most of my time and as a kid cartoons, comic books and fictitious worlds were key inspirations that sculpted my interests. Years later as a young teen living in the mid 80's a new phenomenon had polarised the community and at the age of eleven I had joined this anti-establishment cult movement. Skateboarding had been revitalised and was liberation for the youth of the day rebelling against civilised society and the higher authority. Rather than mastering the trickery of the board, I gravitated toward the radical art displayed on the plywood plank. This era breathed a new life into the kind of artist I was to become.
