I am an emerging artist from Perth, Western Australia. In my artistic practice, I draw much inspiration from the natural and anthropomorphic world. My versatility as a painter is expressed through the varied approaches of representational, figurative and abstract genres. My style is diverse: from expressive loose brushwork, to more refined detail, to the haptic qualities of the handmade. I embrace colour to its fullest, through which I intend to invoke emotion with my liberal application and intense use of colour. I am currently establishing my art brand, Eclette.

Eclette is my personal brand and expression of my creativity as an artist. Eclette was born from my love of eclectic homes filled to the brim with art – I believe that a house is not a home unless it is full of things that shout individuality! It was through some self-evaluation and realisation that I created a direction for my art practice that embraced my personality, versatility and creativity; I set out to create deliberately designed artworks that are stand-alone in their own right, however when curated together reveal a cohesive story. As Eclette, I design, make and curate eclectic collections of ready-to-hang gallery walls; each collection is comprised of multiple works that are sold individually or as an entire collection. Each gallery wall is unique and has a different source of inspiration, theme, colour palette and variety of painting style – it was only through embracing this direction that I could really capture what art means to me.
