Creativity has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. Working as a photographer and graphic designer allowed me to fulfill my dream of being a working artist but having a paintbrush in hand is when I really feel the spark of creativity ignited. I was born in Dubbo, Central West NSW and spent most of my life exploring the wide open spaces. A recent sea-change with my husband and two teenage sons has brought me to Newcastle where a whole new world of inspiration is mine to explore.

As an explorative artist, I'm always challenging myself to try new techniques and mediums. My paintings reflect the need in me to find order amongst the chaos, but without being too constrained to social ideals. My work usually includes repetitive patterns, organic shapes and simple colour combinations.
